Artist

Chloe Elizabeth Bailey (born July 1, 1998), also known simply as Chlöe, is a singer, songwriter, producer and actress best known as the older half of the R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle.

Originally from Atlanta, Chlöe’s early years were spent in Mableton, Georgia, where she first got involved with acting. At five years old, she made her screen debut in the 2003 film The Fighting Temptations, playing the younger version of Beyoncé’s character, Lilly. This led to her other early appearances in Last Holiday (2006), Meet The Browns (2008), and Gospel Hill (2008). Her father taught her how to write songs when she was ten, and after her family moved to Los Angeles in 2012, her talents as a performer really began to take off.

As a solo artist, Chlöe emerged in 2021 with a rendition of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” for the Juneteenth compilation Liberated / Music For the Movement Vol. 3. Her official debut single “Have Mercy” was released three months later on September 10th, with more singles and her appearances on songs by other artists coming afterwards. Her debut album, the highly-anticipated In Pieces, was released on March 31, 2023, supported by the singles “Pray It Away,” “How Does It Feel,” “Body Do,” the title track and “Cheatback.”
