Don Michael Jr.

Artist

Don Michael Jr. is an artist and producer from Camden, New Jersey. He is also known as Traxx Trigga, his producing-based pseudonym, but raps under Don Michael Jr., his birth name.

As a self taught producer from Camden, New Jersey whose diligence is spent helping other notable artists on their projects, Don Michael Jr. boasts musical creativity with lyrics, flow, and triple entendres that expose his version of the world. He has wordplay and production in his hands, and that cross-talented genius is plainly seen in his two studio projects; Threeday and The White Rabbit Experience. He released his debut Threeday album in 2014, and The White Rabbit Experience in 2015.

After the Threeday release almost cracked the top 100 iTunes album charts, he opened up for Jadakiss and nearly Meek Mill, but due to his untimely incarceration, that performance was postponed. However, during that time, Don got enough search requests and inquires to get his own Pandora station, and has since appeared on a ton of websites, including HipHopSince1987.com, GrindTime.com and the facebook page of Hot107.1 in Memphis. Interviews with Behind the Sound, and a few other websites are giving people insight into his personality and creativity, all from the quality of work and his unique marketing strategies.

With the launch of his website, he put out a short film for the song, “No Seats at the Top.” That, along with the free release of Threeday and his Field Day Pack, which included all the instrumentals and vocals from the album, sparked a movement of producers world wide remixing songs for Threeday.

With a past of songwriting and producing for artists such as Bad Boy’s Cassie, Universal’s Angel Haze, Cash Money’s Ashley Ring, Veronica V, and Chris Richardson, Hollywood Record’s The Charlies, Asylum Record’s Parade, KPop group SHINee, and even writing hooks for the likes of Red Cafe, Rick Ross, Busta Rhymes, and a slew of other relevant artists, it’s easy to see why Don Michael Jr seems to understand song-making on a different level. Being hailed as one of the best studio engineers, professionally, he’s one of the rare artists who can do it all. From writing the harmonies of the song to adjusting levels of compression in the mix, this producer/MC is a true one stop shop.
