“Better Days”, the sixth track on blink-182’s second demo, is one of the three tracks (with “Untitled #1” and “Untitled #2”) only ever released on this tape.

It tells the story of a man, husband and father, who treats his family very poorly and whose life is a complete mess, though it is unclear which causes which. We can also find a sprinkle of classic blink humor in this otherwise relatively serious song on the last line of Verse 1:

Oh my god you found out your neighbor’s gay
