“Days of Girlhood” goes over Dylan Mulvaney’s experience as a transgender woman and reclaims her relationship with femininity and celebrates trans joy after receiving backlash from her 2023 Bud Light partnership. The song is named after her TikTok series that shares her journey of being a girl each day and was released to celebrate her two years of girlhood.

I’m releasing the song on my second year of transition anniversary, and I’m so honored to be partnering with the Trevor Project again this year. Dylan further confirmed in an Instagram post that any profits made during Pride Month will go towards the Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization for suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth.
