This song is the original, scrapped version of LIL DUSTY G’s “AS FAR AS IT GETS” which released as part of his UNDERGROWTH album in 2022.

The main difference between the two versions is the instrumental, with the released version featuring production by Marshmello and SINIMA, whereas this earlier version used a free YouToube beat from Hanto. It is unknown why the instrumental was replaced, but possible reasons are that Hanto’s beat did not match the album’s sound or that Dustin was missing sample clearance from LP since Hanto’s beat sampled vocals of LP’s “Muddy Waters.”

Upon questioning on Instagram, LIL DUSTY G has confirmed that this version of “AS FAR AS IT GETS” will likely never see an official release.
