The Rolling Stones recorded the song for in 1965 for their album December’s Children (And Everybody’s) with a different arrangement. It is believed that the Oboe led arrangement came as an answer to the Beatles' huge ballad “Yesterday” that came out earlier in 1965.

This was the first song Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote together after producer Andrew Loog Oldham locked them in a kitchen until they had written something.
