The second half is a long jam that has a jazz-rock feel to it, and features Bobby Keys' saxophone solo and afterward, Mick Taylor’s melodic lead guitar. The song doesn’t have a traditional chorus; the second appearance of the chorus melody contains completely different lyrics from the first.
