A Town Called Obsolete

Andreya Triana

“A Town Called Obsolete” is the third track and second single of Andreya Triana’s debut album Lost Where I Belong.

With production from Bonobo, electric bass and horn–played by Alan Hardiman, Mike Lesirge and Ryan Jacob—accompanies Andreya’s smokey-sounding vocals, while she pleads for patience while facing alienation.

When speaking to M Magazine, Andreya said:

It’s just a metaphor for things coming from nowhere. I wrote it at a time when I was really frustrated with how things were going. The meaning of the song is if you just leave it alone, put it down, it’ll happen.
