Art of Noise saw Tom Jones performing “Kiss” in his live act as an R&B number, enjoying the famously baritone-voiced singer reinterpreting one of the era’s greatest lyricists, the occasionally soprano Prince. The group added what they do best – production – to create a totally fresh sound out of this 1986 chart-topping hit.
Their version was also an international smash hit, reaching the top 20 in several countries overseas, and peaking at #31 in the US.
