This song was written by Ray Wilson as a teen, whilst he was part of a Punk band with his Brother Steve.

Ray states on his Live album, “Up Close and Personal”, that he wrote this for the Bass player within the band who sadly committed suicide at the age of 14.

Speaking on the album, Ray stated that “I wrote this song for him and it was based on the idea that he’d gone somewhere better, you know, that he was happy, I tried to look at it positively, if you can.”
