SHeDAISY

The SHeDAISY selection “23 Days,” on whose authorship and composition Jason Deere and Kristyn Osborn collaborated, essentially describes a concert tour which that ensemble takes, and it is written and composed from the point of view of its narratrix being twenty-three days from returning to her beloved.

That its setting is the said concert tour can be surmised from the first line of its first verse referring to “a sparking marquee sign” on which the narratrix’s “name looks unfamiliar” to her and the first line of the second verse mentioning a “napkin in my lap” on which “another song gets scribbled” in the course of travel.

SHeDAISY actually licensed this selection to the makers of “Sleep Number Beds,” as its content implies that one will be awaiting the narratrix when she returns to her beloved.
