Bone Machine

Pixies

The opening track of Pixies' critically-acclaimed 1988 LP Surfer Rosa is an example of the Pixies' characteristic sound, contrasting caustic and heavy garage-rock execution with vocal harmonies and tight melodies and their famous loud/quiet/loud dynamics.

The song itself deals with a woman named Carol and how her continuous infidelities make Black Francis wonder if there’s some kind of undetectable internal mechanics that control her will.
