The seventh track from There is a Hell…, “Alligator Blood” comes in as one of the heavier tracks on the album. The style of this track is reminiscent of their work on their previous album, Suicide Season.

The title of the song comes from a poker term for a player that has no concern for his competition, and is ruthless in taking other players' money. Conversely, someone with “alligator blood” is one that, when losing, barely stays in the game. Within the context of the song, the player of Russian roulette is not concerned with the outcome of the game, as long as he lives, and survives each round by the skin of his teeth.
