“The Way” is the highly successful, triple platinum certified lead single from Ariana Grande’s debut album, Yours Truly.
A month before its recording in January 2013, Grande hinted at the song by tweeting the lyrics to the hook.
The beat was sampled from Brenda Russell’s “A Little Bit of Love”, also notable for its use in “Still Not A Player” by Big Punisher.
