This song is from the 1990 album Highwayman II and tells the stories of four fictional (but very real) homeland people in America. It talks about each man’s golden days and also the struggles that they have faced. The 4-part structure, in addition to working well for a 4-vocalist group, also strongly mirrors their biggest hit, “Highwayman”.
