“All This Time” is the opening track from Joe Jonas' debut studio album, Fastlife, in which he offers emotional support to help his lover, who had been hurt from previous love experiences, and wants her to be able to trust him, stating he wouldn’t make the same mistakes to harm her.

Joe commented his opinions on behalf of this song, where he states:

‘All This Time’ is a song that I wrote with Kevin Cossom and Danja. The song is about talking to a girl and saying, “I can help you get to a place of love again.” I think this person was hurt. They don’t know how to love anymore. So it’s about showing them that they can trust you and open up to you and you can take them to a place where love is something more than you’ve ever imagined.
