“Run It!” is the debut single from R&B singer Chris Brown, who was only 16 years old at the time of release. The track features rapper Juelz Santana—who later collaborated with Chris on 2009’s “Back to the Crib.” The single has been described as a de-crunked version of Usher’s 2004 single “Yeah!.”

“Run It!” peaked at #1 on Billboard’s 100 chart, where it spent a total of 5 weeks on top. It was also #1 in Australia and New Zealand, and a top 10 hit in several European countries.

The single spawned a remix version featuring rappers Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri which was performed at The 2006 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards—along with “Yo (Excuse Me Miss).”
