Bono wrote this song about his wife Alison whom he has been wedded to for now 32 years.

It was originally released in 1987 as a B-side on the “Where the Streets Have No Name” single. It was later re-recorded and re-released, as a single in October 1998 for the U2 compilation album, The Best of 1980-1990.

…the classic midget meets girl, girl meets midget, they fall in love but the girl really loves other guy, scenario. That old plot. It’s based on a movie, but I can’t remember the name of it.
