The lead single from Daft Punk’s fourth and final studio album, Random Access Memories, “Get Lucky” was first teased in snippets on Saturday Night Live. It peaked in the top 3 in every country it charted in and, because of its performance in the United States, got the duo their first song to reach the top 10 on the Billboard charts. According to an interview with Pitchfork, the original version featured the Wurlitzer electronic piano, but because of the revisions, took 18 months to complete from start to finish.
