“Adonais” was inspired by Percy Bysshe Shelley’s 1821 poem Adonais: An Elegy on the Death of John Keats, Author of Endymion, Hyperion, etc. It was originally released as a b-side to “The 13th”, the lead single of Wild Mood Swings.
