Be Mine is the result of a collaboration between 2NE1, Teddy Park and Intel Corporation, specifically a project entitled “ Make Thumb Noise” in promotion of Intel Ultrabook which called on fans to interactively vote on the songs per-arranged elements during four rounds of voting on Facebook and other social media platforms. Those elements are listed below.

In early May, 2NE1 released thirty-second audio clips to fans and allowed them to vote on which one was their favourite. The finalized “Be Mine” is the result of those fan votes. Despite the audio itself not being released as a single, the Music Video was released to the groups Youtube channel on June 5th, 2012.
