American Psycho [Script]

American Psycho [Script]

Mary Harron

Adapted from the classic “American Psycho”, this movie provides much of the same look upon the morality and mortality of man as the novel.

Patrick Bateman is a young, attractive, and shrewd businessman. At first glance, he is the epitome of the “American Dream”; he has everything he could ever want. The plot thickens and takes a dark turn as the audience begins to see Bateman’s psychopathic tendencies, and the disdain he has for life and the general populace. As the film progresses, Bateman’s psychopathic tendencies turn into psychopathic actions, and the audience can do nothing but watch as Bateman’s sanity unravels.
