Released on August 22, 2013, “Type Of Way” is the second single from Rich Homie Quan’s Still Goin In: Reloaded mixtape. While addressing the boyfriend of the girl he’s creeping with, Quan uses the term “type of way” to describe a range of complex emotions—from jealousy to sexual attraction.

The track became the track of the season for the Michigan State football team in 2013. They invited Quan to stand on the sidelines during their 2014 Rose Bowl victory, and had a dance party in their locker room to track after the game:
