On “Friend, Please” frontman Tyler Joseph encourages a friend considering suicide that life is worth living. It is likely that the song was addressed to someone specific at the time of its writing (maybe even a song to Tyler himself, as he’s mentioned his own struggles with depression on numerous songs such as the 2013 song “Migraine”), but is now a message that addresses many twenty one pilots' fans, as well.
