“Blasphemy” was released in 2008 on Tyler Joseph’s debut solo album, No Phun Intended. The first verse was repurposed as the closing verse in later song “Anathema,” released in twenty one pilots' second album Regional At Best in 2011. The song muses on religion, anxiety, doubt and too-restless thoughts—topics that would become staples of later band twenty one pilot’s lyrical messages.
