“#9 Dream”, a cover of the 1974 John Lennon song, was the leading single from the various-artist tribute album Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur.

This was the first recording the band made with original drummer Bill Berry since Berry’s retirement in 1997 – he wouldn’t return until their 2009 holiday single.
