“Power of Love/Love Power” is the lead single from Luther Vandross' 1991 album of the same name. This song spent two weeks at the number one spot on the R&B charts and also charted at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his biggest hit. The song was a medley, where “Love Power” was originally performed by R&B group The Sandpebbles in 1968.

“Power of Love/Love Power” was covered by Donna Summer on his tribute album, So Amazing: An All-Star Tribute to Luther Vandross, as well as Patti LaBelle at his funeral.
