When Lucy sees Paco, the head of the revolutionary group she’s involved in, is making bombs, she is disheartened with the group, as the domestic terror tactics horrify the young pacifist. She realizes that the revolution is not as noble as she anticipated. As her idealism is shaken, she is surrounded by reminders of Jude, as their relationship was destroyed by his jealousy of Paco and her resentment of his lack of revolutionary fervor.
