“Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)” was the lead single by the Digable Planets from their debut album, Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space). They performed it live on In Living Color in early 1993. Two months later it peaked at #15 in the US.

The song won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 36th Grammy Awards.
