Out of My Head

Out of My Head

Fastball

This Paul McCartney-esque ballad was released as the final single off of the band’s sophomore album. The track features gospel-inspired organs as lead singer Tony Scalzo sings about a past relationship, and how he’s stupid for doing “bad things” during it. The song was a moderate hit, charting at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The track is most notable in recent years for Huston rapper Machine Gun Kelly’s song “Bad Things”, whose chorus interpolates this song’s chorus, sung by former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello. In a recent interview with Billboard, Scalzo reacted positively towards the use of the sample.
