On “Most Kingz” King Hov raps about the oft-overlooked downsides of living life at the top of the rap game.

While it was first heard in 2010, the track was actually recorded while Jay was on his United Nations-supported “Water for Life Tour” in 2006. Hov had planned to include the verses on his post-retirement album Kingdom Come, and multiple producers, including Timbaland and Just Blaze, had a go at backing them. Hov never found a suitable beat, so the track was shelved in favor of his other Chris Martin collaboration “Beach Chair.” Pieces of the verses would be heard on his infamous “Grammy Family Freestyle” on Funk Flex’s HOT97 show, as well as on Coldplay’s “Lost+.”
