As the title already suggests, ‘'Be Alright’‘ is supposed to be a positive and powerful message to anyone who listens to it.

‘Lani Tsunami – a nickname she has given herself, her fans call themselves the ‘'Tsunami Mob’‘ and she created her own record label with the same name – knows what it’s like to go through some difficult things. In her interview with The Fader, this is explained:

She has been homeless for a while and had no one else to support her than herself, so she did. ‘'Be Alright’‘ talks about how you can do the same thing and how you shouldn’t worry too much, because things will be fine.

You just gotta go with the tide, as Lani sings, which is also a subtle hint towards her ‘'Tsunami Mob’‘ and her own nickname.
