A demo-like version of what would eventually become a Queens of the Stone Age song with the same title, that was released on their self-tilted album.

The music tracks of both of “Avon” and track 1, “Nova”, are identical. The difference between the two songs are the lyrics and vocalists, with Pete Stahl singing “Nova” and Homme singing “Avon”.
Homme has said that this was an experiment to show how two different vocalists would treat the same piece of music.
