In the late 2000’s, the Mountain Goats played a rendition of Peter Tosh’s song “Fire Fire” during several performances.

One occasion where the song was played was a 2007 Daytrotter session at Big Orange Studios. Notable is that every song played during the session was unreleased: “Pinklon”, “Ethiopians”, “Babylon Burning”, and “Red River Valley”.
