“1 Thing” is the lead single from Amerie’s second album, Touch. It was also the lead single on the soundtrack to the 2005 Will Smith film Hitch.

The song peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped Billboard’s R&B chart for a week in April 2005.
