In “If This Was A Movie,” Taylor daydreams about a lost love coming back to her. The track was made available on the deluxe edition of Taylor’s album Speak Now. (2010). Lyrically and thematically, it resembles her 2008 song “Breathe.” The song is the only one on the album to feature a co-writer.

The track has received some backlash for supposedly being grammatically incorrect.
