Black Sabbath

The lyrics describe the thoughts of an unborn child. In the end, the lyrics give some general advice about life itself. As we were all born, we should live our life to the fullest.

Metallica covered the beginning of this song along with “Sabbra Cadabra” for their 1998 covers album Garage Inc.

Ignorant people often associated Black Sabbath with Satan worshipers, but they clearly never read lyrics like those in the final verse, which simply tell you to live life with love and not to hate.

Satan was hardly ever conjured up in our lyrics, and when he was it was not in the religious sense, but in the sense that Satan was alive and well in the people who govern us, manipulating us and killing us in their wars.
