This is a remix of “One Step Closer,” the lead single off of Linkin Park’s debut album, Hybrid Theory. The original song was and still is one of the band’s most recognizable and popular songs.

For this remix, the band brought in Jonathan Davis, famous for his work as the lead singer of fellow nu metal band KoRn, to provide added vocals for the song. From 2003 to 2006, Linkin Park performed his addition to the song live as a buildup to the infamous “SHUT UP!” portion of the song. This can be seen on their first live DVD, entitled Live in Texas.
