The opening to Box Car Racer’s debut, self titled, and last album.

Box Car Racer is formed by Tom Delonge (blink-182, AVA), Travis Barker (blink-182), David Kennedy (Actor, AVA, Hazen Street), and Anthony Celestino (Tattooist).

“I Feel So” was the first single released for Box Car Racer’s self titled album. The song is about being young and feeling a wave of emotions. Wishing these things that the narrator ultimately isn’t.

These feelings that Tom talks about are anger, sadness, depressed, confused, used, calloused, cheap, and more.

The music video is inspired by the “Muncie, Indiana” scene of the Spielberg science fiction film Close Encounters of the Third Kind. A part where the boy awakens in the night and his toys operate on their own.

An instrumental version of “I Feel So” is present on the cassette edition of the Box Car Racer album, replacing the last track, “Instrumental”.
