Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) is a song by Colombian singer Shakira, featuring the South African Freshlyground. It was the 2010 FIFA World Cup official song, leading to some controversy because it wasn’t sung by a South African native.

Nevertheless, it hit number one in many countries' record charts across the world and was number 38 on the Hot 100 in the US. The track features two samples: the first an instrumental of a South African guitar, the second the chorus, which is from Golden Sounds' song, “Zangaléwa.”
