Constant Headache is a track from Joyce Manor’s self-titled album. The song is often misinterpreted, thought to be told from a dog’s perspective.

In a Reddit AMA in March 2020, lead singer Barry Johnson clarified:

“Constant Headache” isn’t very cryptic. It’s all there in the song. It’s not from the perspective of a dog. It’s from the perspective of a person who is a little younger maybe 19 and hanging out with 23 year olds and hearing them be a young couple in love and just thinking about love and life and people and parties.
