After Meek’s response to Drake’s diss (which itself mentioned AR-AB), he had this to say:

“After I heard it I’m thinking ‘This can’t be it.’ Meek come from Philly streets. I’m thinking there was gonna be some more shit than that. So, we all was just waiting like ‘Nah, this ain’t the end of it. That’s just the beginning of it.’ And then come to find out, that was the end of it. I’m not even gonna lie, man. I thought it was gonna be like five fuckin’ Drake disses out by now. I’m like ‘Damn, Meek gonna go hard. This a good opportunity because Drake is at a higher level than him.”

Meek obviously wasn’t happy that a fellow Philly rapper was seemingly siding with his enemy, and called out AR-AB on stage during the Pinkprint tour. AR-AB responded less than a day later with this diss, where he rhymes over the beat to Drake’s diss Back to Back.
