This song is a parody of the song “Pearly Gates” by the rap group Mobb Deep. It was released in August 2015, and a couple of the things about both songs are very similar. Such as, the chorus of both songs sound similar.

With Pearly Gates, the chorus was “homie, if I to hell, but you make it to heaven/just get me to the gates and I’ll talk my way in/got a gift, I’m special with the flow, I’m good/shit, I done talk my way out of the hood”

While in this one, the chorus is “brony if I go to hell but you get to Equestria, just get me to the castle and I’ll talk to Celestia/made up my mind, I’m a brony all the way ‘til I die/and even after death I want ponies for the afterlife”

Another thing that’s strikingly similar about the two songs was that they both contained controversial lyrics in their third verses, and both were censored, even on the explicit version of the songs.

This song was made to show how some bronies can be very serious about their fandom, some even hoping to go to Equestria after death, and the first and second verses explain some of the things that bronies enjoy, told from the point of view from the songwriter, Dash-N, and the third verse shows how sometimes, it is possible to be WAY too serious about your fandom which can be a very bad thing.
