Warm on a Cold Night

HONNE

HONNE’s first ever song, an ode to love, was penned by Andy in the dark in under two hours.

HTV: You wrote “Warm on a Cold Night” in the dark, is this a common theme when you make music?
HONNE: It is yes. Not only musically but also visually too. We love the vibe of a poorly lit/dark room at night especially for writing. I feel it’s a time/place you can truly be yourself. Plus, we all know that the best things happen at nighttime.

Upon release, it hit the top spot on Hype Machine, a site measuring a song’s popularity with music blogs, foreshadowing a bright future for the indie electrosoul duo.

Note the radio static at the end of the song.
