Seotaiji and Boys

In 1995, Seo Taiji and Boys introduced South Korea, a fairly conservative country, to gangsta rap through their edgy yet straightforward track, “Come Back Home.” Despite the song addressing the hardship faced by teenagers as they are being pressured by the oppressive educational system and parental constraint, this sequel to “Class Idea” urges teenage runaways to return home.

The West Coast influenced track was accused of plagiarizing Cypress Hill’s “I Ain’t Goin' Out Like That.” However, in a Reddit AMA, B-Real himself claimed that he’s chill with it.

The hit is being remade by famous K-Pop group, BTS, as a part of SEOTAIJI 25 project – Time Traveler which celebrates the 25 years of Seo Taiji’s contributions in the music industry.
