“History” is the 13th track on One Direction’s fifth studio album, Made in the A.M.. The band performed “History” on The X Factor as their last live performance before the hiatus. It is said to be as a sort of song from “the band to the fans”, most likely referencing to One Direction’s hope that their fans will stay loyal during their year-long break in 2016.
