“Water” is the leading single from Ra Ra Riot’s album Need Your Light. It was the first song released following their 2013 album Beta Love.

In a press release, Rostam Batmanglij compared the writing process for both “Water” and “I Need Your Light” to that of Discovery’s first album LP, which was a previous collaborative project between Rostam and front man Wes Miles.
