“Between Me and You” is a song by rapper Ja Rule, from his second album Rule 3:36. It was released on June 16, 2000, as the first single from the album and it features singer and actress Christina Millian. It peaked at #11 on the Hot 100 Billboard chart, making it Ja Rule’s first crossover hit, as well as being his first top 15 hit. The song also charted at #5 and #11 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rap Songs, respectfully. There is an official remix to the song that features Vita, Cadillac Tah and Black Child, with a new verse from Ja Rule and Millian’s chorus that appeared on the Features and Lost Tapes, Part 2 mixtape.
