“Don’t Come Home” is a song by Emma Blackery which was recorded for her fourth extended play “Sucks To Be You” but was not included because she did not feel as it would fit with the flow of the extended play as it was much more acoustic than the other three songs.

The song was born as a ballad, Don’t Come Home was re-written with electropop verses and a hard-hitting pop-rock chorus for release on her fifth EP, Magnetised, which came out on May 27. 2017.

It was written in a period where Emma Blackery and her then boyfriend Luke Cutforth were in a period of fighting due to work related stress and differences.
