“16 Shots” is a pro-black anthem detailing the deaths of Laquan McDonald’s shooting, but more importantly continuing the Black Lives Matter theme.
However, the title, “16 Shots” is a reference to the number of bullets that struck McDonald. During October, 2015 Vic joined Chicago protesters following the killing of Laquan.
On February 29th of 2016, Vic supersized his viewers with a performance for REVOLT TV’s fundraiser. The fundraiser, #JusticeForFlint helps raise funds and awareness for those in the water crisis.
